The work of Hugo José Rendeiro Ribeiro Morais
The name Rendeiro comes from the rugged coast of northwestern Iberia, where there once lived a small community of artisans known as Rendeiros.
They worked slowly. Painstakingly. Their studios were quiet places, with long wooden benches, scattered pigments and hanging sheets of linen swaying in the sea breeze. Whole families would pass down their knowledge from generation to generation.
The craft of the Rendeiros? To Render.
Nowadays, Hugo keeps the family tradition going strong.
