"All good things come in threes, and I was happy to be asked once again to create opening titles for Playgrounds, this time for their brand new In Motion festival held in London and Rotterdam. After creating the overall look and feel for the new festival together with the fine folks at BUCK (more on this later!), I wanted to take the wavelength concept that’s at the core of the identity, and take it into as many directions as possible. Waterslides! Apples! Balloon animals! The resulting titles are a patchwork of different styles and ideas, but isn’t that a fitting way to enter the world of In Motion?"
